Ballagh woman ‘steps aside’ as Fianna Fáil treasurer

Ballaghaderreen woman Mary Devine-O’Callaghan has stepped aside as the joint national treasurer of Fianna Fáil.

The well-known Roscommon woman has filled the role since 2015 when she was appointed at the party’s ard fheis.

She has been to the fore of Fianna Fáil locally for many years and has taken charge of many local and general elections.


The party confirms today she has stepped aside as joint national treasurer, citing ‘personal reasons’.
