Over four thousand eight hundred people have signed an online petition calling for the return of The Grind Coffee Cart to the side of the N4 near Lough Key Forest Park.

26 year old entrepreneur Danny O'Neill from Cloonloo, Sligo had been trading legitimately on the side of the Sligo Dublin Road between Boyle and Carrick on Shannon for the last 18 months.

However, he received an enforcement order from Roscommon County Council 3 weeks ago and has had to close after bye laws were updated this year.

Mr O'Neill says it was a massive blow to him and he's now trying to be realistic about his options to return to trading.
