235 people are waiting for to get funding for home help support in county Roscommon.
According to figures released to Fianna Fail, it’s over 100 per cent higher than the numbers waiting in the neighbouring Shannonside counties of Sligo and Leitrim which together have 104 people on a waiting list.
Longford Westmeath has the second lowest numbers in the country, with just 11 people waiting for support from the HSE scheme.
Dublin North has the largest waiting list with 675 people seeking support.
Roscommon Galway TD Eugene Murphy says his party will be looking for a quicker turnaround on home help as part of confidence and supply.
