New figures show 112 people presented as homeless to Roscommon County Council last year.
But about half of those were not given accommodation by the local authority.
A total of 41 men, 33 women and 38 children presented as homeless to the council last year.
The reasons for being without a home included domestic violence, family disputes, disputes with neighbours, fire damage to a property, evictions and barring orders.
The 112 people comprised 66 household units.
Thirty of these were provided with B&B accommodation, but 36 were not accommodated as the council said they’d have alternative accommodation.
The local authority spent €35,000 on homeless services in 2018.
