Three Mullingar authors have been shortlisted for this year’s Irish Book Awards.
Anne Griffin, Pat Marry and Niall Breslin – otherwise known as Bressie – are all up for awards in different categories.
Debut novel ‘When All Is Said And Done’ by Anne Griffin has been nominated for both the Popular Fiction Book and Newcomer of the Year award.
Pat Marry’s ‘The Making of a Detective’ is a factual recount of his life as a detective, and has been nominated for Popular Non-Fiction Book of the Year.
As for Bressie, the musician has been nominated for Children’s Book of the Year for his book ‘Take Five’.
