A second entrance of the C&D Pet food factory in Edgeworthstown is the scene of demonstration by farmers this afternoon.
Up to 60 protesters are walking in front of a gas truck that attempted to leave the site at 7.30am.
The truck had earlier entered the property at a different entrance to where a demonstration has been held since Saturday.
Farmers claim that there was an attempt to distract their original protest in order to allow a number of vehicles access the different entrance, which runs parallel to the N4.
Protesters at the site claim that three loads of chicken offal were brought to the factory today at around 6am as well as a truck of gas.
Subsequently, a large group of farmers arrived to join the protests and now two separate entrances to the factory have demonstrations taking place outside their gates.
Gardai currently remain at the scene keeping a watching brief while the gas truck attempts to leave the property.
