REVEALED: Cheapest home in Longford last month sold for under €10,000

The most expensive home in the Shannonside region sold last month reached a price of €290,000

Figures from the Property Price Register last month reveal that 80 properties went under the hammer, with the cheapest sold for less than ten-thousand euro in Longford.

Longford recorded both the cheapest and most expensive domestic property sold last month, according to figures from the Property Services Regulatory Authority.

A house on Main Street in Ballymahon was sold for just €9,400 while at the other end of the scale, a property in Lanesborough reached a €290,000.

In Leitrim, 15 properties went under the hammer last month – the cheapest was a home in Tullaghan which cost €35,000, while the most expensive was a property in Cloghergrane in Carrick-on-Shannon which was sold for €240,000.

44 properties were sold in Roscommon last month, the cheapest was a home bought form €10,000 in Cootehill in Boyle, and the most expensive a property in Ardcarne in Boyle which reached a price of a quarter of a million.
