The oral hearing for the proposed wind farm at Derryadd in Longford ended at lunchtime today.
The hearing hosted by An Bord Pleanala to hear about plans to erect 24 major turbines on bogland near Lanesborough ran a day over schedule.
It heard from over 20 groups and individuals over the three days including the applicants Powergen and the No to Derryadd wind farm opposition group.
Environmental activist Peter Sweetman also took part in the hearing and called for it to be dismissed yesterday due to the lack of information provided by Powergen.
Today final questions were put to Powergen and some of their experts, as well as to the National Parks and Wildlife Service, and closing submissions were also made.
A decision on the application for the wind farm is due to be made by the end of next month.
