Online survey for economic development of Lanesboro Ballyleague

People in Lanesboro and Ballyleague are being urged to complete an online survey to help prepare an economic development strategy for the area.

Longford and Roscommon County Councils, along with Future Analytics consultants, are hoping local people will help highlight the local potential to create jobs.

They want people to participate and share their community knowledge to help revitalise the two villages, especially in light of the forthcoming closure of the Lough Ree Power Station.

People have up until August 28th to complete the online survey which will be totally anonymous and can be found online at

Consultant with Future Analytics Dr Aoife Doyle is an expert in Spatial Planning.
