People interested in helping a schools meals programme in developing countries are urged to attend an information evening this evening.
Mary’s Meals provides a daily meal for over 1.4 million children worldwide at the cost of 15.60 euro for a year.
Fr Eamon Kelly. Priest Director for Mary’s Meals Ireland is hoping to start a branch of the charity in Longford this evening with a meeting in the Pastoral Center, St Mel’s College at half past seven.
Speaking on Let’s Talk today he outlined what they try to achieve.
