Longford’s County Librarian says library is open even if doors are shut

Longford’s County Librarian has said that just because the library doors are shut doesn’t mean it isn’t open.

Mary Carleton-Reynolds made the comments after a week where libraries across the nation closed their buildings due to the coronavirus outbreak.

However, she says people can still access online services and borrow books and magazines digitally through librariesireland.ie.
