A Longford village will receive its very own rural hackney service in the coming weeks.
Cullyfad has been selected as one of fifteen areas to receive a license to start its own “REXI” service.
The position will be advertised in the coming weeks, and the chosen applicant will receive a €8,000 grant and can advertise the hackney service.
The driver must provide their own car and license and will be working with Rural transport Ireland and Longford Westmeath Rural Transport
