Well known Longford Chef Gary O' Hanlon is expressing his disappointment to see that rubbish dumped on a local laneway near his home hasn't been taken away since earlier this year.
He says he had shared a picture on social media of bags of rubbish dumped in a laneway in the Granard area outside the town in March or April and it had received a lot of publicity.
Gary o' Hanlon says he wasn't able to walk locally for the past few months and when he arrived home recently he discovered the same rubbish still there, with up to 12 new black bags added to the pile just last week.

He says he realises that the problem is widespread but would like to see more action from the local authorities on tackling it.
