Longford man James Reynolds is rejecting reports that he has been expelled from his position as treasurer of the ICSA, due to his involvement with a new right wing political party.
The Ballinalee native who has been treasurer of the ICSA since last year has said there was a move made at a managerial meeting last week to remove him from the position, but he says they don’t have the power to do that.
James Reynolds took on the role of Deputy President of The National Party in recent months, and says he believes he should not be discriminated against for his political views.
The National party opposes abortion, immigration and multiculturalism among other issues.
