Longford had the fewest number of bankruptcy cases last year

Longford had the fewest number of bankruptcy cases last year, according to new figures published recently.

According to Stubbs Gazette, just two people in the county have had debt judgements made against them or are currently going through bankruptcy, while in Roscommon the figure was seven and, in Leitrim, six people were in severe financial distress.

Data examined by Stubbs shows that on average, five people in Longford, 11 in Roscommon and 19 in Leitrim are going through bankruptcy.
