Longford councillor accepts work on Ardnacassa area has to continue

The chairman of Longford’s joint-policing committee claims there’s still work to be done to end antisocial behaviour in a Longford estate.

An Ardnacassa resident recently raised various problems with the Justice Minister, including constant drug-activity.

In response, Charlie Flanagan claimed that because of enhanced policing efforts, there had been a reduction in public-order and criminal-damage in the estate recently.

Local Independent councillor Gerry Warnock agrees that’s the case, but accepts some problems remain.
