The story of a Longford asylum seeker features on the TG4 documentary tonight.
Céad Míle Fáilte focuses on the stories of asylum seekers, and their journey through the system of getting status in Ireland.
Tonight’s documentary tells the story of Ovitta, a man who arrived as a student from Malawi, and is now married to an Irish woman, yet lives in an all-male direct provision centre in Longford town.
It airs at half past nine.
Ovitta told today’s Let’s Talk that he was happy that the programme follows what is a long process.
