Thousands of students have marched on the Dáil demanding the government starts taking climate change seriously.
Young activists handed TDs a list of six demands this week, including a call for the government to declare a ‘climate emergency’.
There were also many schools protesting outside their local authorities and school gates, in addition to the issuing of six demands to the Dáil to address this growing problem.
Participating in today’s march in Dublin was transition year student Brianna McCaffrey from Moyne Community School in north Longford.
She spoke to from the protest.
