Roadbridge Civil Engineering & Building Contractors will begin infrastructure works on the 23 million euro Newcastle Wood holiday village in May.
Limerick based Roadbridge Civil Engineering & Building Contractors has won the contract at Center Parcs after a competitive tendering process.
From May it will begin infrastructural development on site, comprising of earthworks, road and path networks, utilities, drainage systems, the lake and building platforms.
While the main contract has gone to a company outside the Midlands, Roadbridge says it prides itself on a longstanding commitment to working with local contractors.
It asks that any subcontractors who wish to be considered for the project should email Roadbridge, at [email protected]
The process to select contractors for the two other major pieces of work, including the main buildings and the lodges at the village is expected to go to tender later this year.
