Killoe Men’s Shed celebrate winning national prize for community history project

Members of the Killoe Men’s Shed are celebrating today after successfully securing a prize in the national awards for the second year in a row.

Killoe Men’s Shed won the Public Choice Sheds competition, sponsored by Topline last year and successfully defended their title thanks to a wave of public support in the last number of days.

They just held off the challenge of Tuam men’s Shed while Ballinamore Shedders were also involved in the competition where ‘shedders’ from across the country were tasked with creating a piece of work that best depicts their local community history.
