According to The Irish Times, it will tell today's Oireachtas Covid-19 committee they aren't 'fit for purpose'.

Public health officials are also expected to advise against easing restrictions quicker than expected.

It comes as one more person died from the virus and there are 77 new confirmed cases.

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in county Roscommon has remained the same at 333.

It follows a dozen new cases announced on Sunday, when Roscommon had the highest number of new cases of any county in Ireland.

There are now 52 cases per 10,000 of the population.

Leitrim has had no new cases in the last five days and remains on 83, Longford has had 283 cases for the past two days.
