Gardai in Granard have re-issued an appeal for information after an elderly man had a sum of money stolen from him last week.
The incident occurred last Wednesday, the 29th of January at a property in Moyne between 5.15pm and 6pm when an elderly man was in his kitchen and an intruder came in and stood beside him.
The unknown individual then asked for directions and asked the elderly man to stand up so he could hear him better.
A few moments later however he left the property and the theft of cash was discovered.
