Five people appear in court following Longford public disorder incident

Five people have appeared in court after an outbreak of violent disorder in Longford on Sunday.

Three women and two men were arrested yesterday after the incident at Mc Eoin Park on Sunday evening.

At before Longford District Court last night, they were charged with public order offences, criminal damage and non-fatal offences against the person.

They were all granted bail with strict conditions - three women and one man are to appear in court again on September 15th and the second man due back before the courts on July 7th next.
