Enterprise Ireland funded local companies with almost €10.5m last year

Shannonside companies received a total of almost ten and a half million euro from Enterprise Ireland last year.

Businesses in Longford received just under four million euro in payments, Monaghan received over two million euro, while Longford and Cavan were the biggest beneficiaries of almost four million euro each.

Leitrim and Roscommon, on the other hand, received significantly less than other counties with €350,000 and €117,000 respectively.

Panelto Foods in Longford Town was the single biggest recipient, receiving more than €3.2 million of the grant allocation in the county.

Among beneficiaries in Leitrim, Jetwash International received the largest amount at €147,012. In Roscommon, Oliver Carty Unlimited received €68,750 while in Cavan, Abbott Ireland received a large chunk of the allocation for the county at two million one hundred and ten thousand euro.

In Monaghan, highs of €241,008 went to Wright Quarry Products.
