Edgeworthstown regeneration works to cause traffic disruption until early December

The regeneration program for Edgeworthstown is expected to cause intermittent disruption to businesses and traffic in the town.

Works are starting this week to facilitate the undergrounding of the overhead wires on the main street, it’s anticipated they will be completed by early December.

It comes as the new town library is now under construction.


Further public realm works, including a plaza to the front of the new library, streetscape improvements and the construction of a new public carpark to the rear of the new library will be progressed and completed next year.
