Edgeworth’s contribution to science being celebrated this weekend

A range of special events is taking place in Edgeworthstown this weekend to mark the contribution made by the Edgeworth family to various branches of science.

The Edgeworth Society has planned the event as part of National Science Week and they include a mobile planetarium which is on site in the Green.

Professor Barry Fitzgerald of BE Science will also give two free workshops in St Marys Community Centre on the science behind the Iron Man Suit and the science involved in Spider-Man’s spider silk.
