Center Parcs has announced that it will re-open it's Longford Forest holiday village outside Ballymahon in the next three weeks.
The site closed its doors on the 13th of March in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In line with government guidance, there will be social distancing and new safety measures in place to protect the families who visit each week and the company's 1,000 employees.
The village will re-open initially without the Subtropical Swimming Paradise or Spa but it's planned to open both on the 27th of July subject to government guidance.
During the four month closure period at the Ballymahon resort the majority of the company's 1,000 employees were supported by the governments Covid-19 wage subsidy scheme.
