200 people currently working on Center Parcs’ Longford Forest

Over 200 people are presently working for the soon to be opened Center Parcs Longford Forest in Ballymahon, while up to 50% of staff are still to be recruited.

Staff from the company, including CEO Martin Dalby attended another community forum meeting in Ballymahon last night after announcing earlier in the day that the accommodation end of the huge project, involving almost 500 lodges and apartments has now been completed.

Other main buildings in the complex have already been handed over by the contractor in recent weeks and others will be finished by the end of June according to CEO Martin Dalby.

He told Shannonside News they’re very happy to be on schedule with the construction work, and they’re also confident of filling the remaining 500 or so jobs needed to run the resort when it opens this summer:
