A young man from Leitrim is challenging people’s preconceptions of gender in a new awareness campaign.
Tadhg Murray, who works in tech, also preforms as a drag queen and has joined up with the Mobile company Huawei in their campaign to challenging gender stereotypes.
The Ballinamore man has fond memories of his home town, where he had a close knit group of friends and never felt the need to hide who he really was.
His stage name is Alicia, while he sees drag as a main stream form of entertainment nowadays and not just a sub culture of the LGBT plus community.
Tadgh believes drag culture is helping to break down gender stereotypes and makes people question their own views on gender.
