Houses and businesses in the Fenagh Keshcarrigan areas have had to endure water outages 12 times so far this year.
That's according to local Fianna Fail councillor Caillian Ellis who says many families were without water for a day and a half during the latest mains burst earlier this week.
Councillor Ellis says the lack of water is not acceptable especially at a time when hygiene is vital as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The pipeline is also made up partially of asbestos and Councillor Ellis says this is another reason why Irish Water should have prioritised its replacement by this time.
