A consultant in emergency medicine at Sligo University Hosptial says the latest HSE plan to tackle the trolley crisis is ”20 pages of guff”.
The 30 million euro initiative will see extra beds will be made available at 9 hospitals around the country, including the Midlands Regional Tullamore.
550 homecare packages will also be available to free up space for acute patients.
