House prices in the Shannonside region increased by an average of four percent in the last 12 months according to a new property report.
House prices are rising at their lowest rate in nearly six years.
A new report from Daft.ie says prices for the second quarter of 2019 were 3.7 percent higher than the same point last year.
But this is the lowest rate of inflation since late 2013.
In Roscommon, the average price is now €146,655, which is an increase of 4.75 on figures for last year.
In Leitrim, the average price of a home in the county is now €137,058 which is up 3.9% on 2018 figures.
In Longford, the average price is €141,647 which represents an increase of 5.5% on figures for last year.
