Planning permission has been re-lodged for a forty one house development in Carrick-on-Shannon.
The proposed project at Priors Point was previously rejected due to an incomplete application.
The development will consist of the construction of the units including two, three and four bedroom semi-detached houses, three and five-bedroom detached houses and four-bedroom terrace houses.
This will be accompanied by a new pump station connecting to the existing public sewer system and site boundaries, as well as the diversion of underground ESB cable, relocation of underground gas tanks, landscaping works and all other associated site works and services.
A Natura Impact Statement has reportedly been submitted to the planning authority with the application, and a decision is expected on the 27th of May.
