Commuters using Dromod Train Station car park will have to pay more in cash than if they were to buy online.
The rail company came under fire last week when Leitrim councillor Sean McGowan highlighted that an online-only ticketing option at the station was to be imposed.
Iarnród Éireann confirmed to Shannonside FM that a cash machine will be installed and pay and display parking will come into effect on the 3rd of February.
However, a weekly ticket bought online will be €9 per day, while the same ticket bought in cash at the station’s machine will cost €11. An online day ticket will also be a euro cheaper at €3.50.
