Numbers waiting on trolleys at Sligo Hospital decrease slightly

There has been a slight easing in the number of people waiting for a hospital bed at Sligo University Hospital this morning.

According to INMO thirty people are waiting on trolleys and chairs at the north-west facility today, a reduction of eleven on the number of people waiting there on Wednesday.

Thirty-two people are waiting for a hospital bed at University Hospital Galway while one child is among the nine people waiting for a hospital bed at Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar.

Its sister hospital in Tullamore has sixteen people waiting this morning, while fourteen people are waiting for a bed at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.
