Mohill residents encouraged to engage with new ‘Reimagine’ architecture project

A special project is underway in the town of Mohill in Leitrim after the town was chosen as one of six nationwide to take part in the Reimagine project organised by the Irish Architects Foundation.

The project which is funded by Creative Ireland encourages people to take ownership and engage more with the built environment around them.

Community group san individuals meet with architects and design experts on a regular basis to find out what people want or what is most needed in the local area, and a particular project is chosen for each town.

In Mohill it’s been decided to focus on budget accommodation for people who may be visiting the area and surrounding attractions.
