Minister says flooding works at Jamestown can be looked at

The impact of rising flood waters along the River Shannon has been raised in the Dáil by Deputies Eugene Murphy and Michael Harty.

Deputy Eugene Murphy questioned the Minister about Tarmonbarry and Jamestown and asked the issue of flooding would be dealt with.

When pressed for a second time by the Deputy, Minister Kevin Boxer Moran responded by saying that his department will apply for a licence and if works at Tarmonbarry take place works at Jamestown will be looked into.
