Friends of the Polish man whose body was located in Carrick-on-Shannon on Wednesday night have expressed their gratitude to the people of the town for their help during the search.

Janusz Jasicki, who lived in Bray in Wicklow, went missing in the town on September 30, but it was ten days before his body was recovered in the Shannon.

A friend of the 30-year-old’s, Gavin O’Toole, has thanked the whole of the Carrick community for their support and help during the difficult time.

He spoke to Anne Norris on today’s Let’s Talk show.
