Leitrim recorded the biggest decrease in new websites being registered in the first half of this year, according to a new report.
The .ie domain report shows that 43% fewer websites were registered in the county in the first six months of 2019 compared to the same time period last year.
In total, just 101 new .ie domains were established in the first half of 2019.
Roscommon registered 222 new .ie domains in the first half of 2019, which was the third-highest percentage increase at over 15%.
Longford’s figure was also down over 8% – with 117 new websites registered in the first six months of the year.
Cavan’s figure was up just half a percent, while Monaghan recorded a 33% decrease.
