County Leitrim is not just the county with the lowest number of coronavirus cases, but it is now the county that has gone the longest time without a new case of coronavirus.
Leitrim has now gone 17 days without reporting a confirmed new case of Covid 19.
The county had 78 cases of the virus as of yesterday, which has come down for 84 cases in last Friday's report.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre advises that in the process of validating data and reviewing addresses, cases may be reassigned to another county.
The county's rate of infection stands at 0.31 per cent of the national figure.
Elsewhere in the region, Longford has now gone 15 days without an increase in recorded cases, its caseload remains at 285.
In Roscommon, the county's total remains at 344, with just four cases of Covid-19 reported in the county in almost two weeks.
