Leitrim County Council has released an open call for artists to take part in an artist-in-residence programme based in three companies in the county.
The programme, which is called Small Sparks, aims to connect companies with three creatives over the course of three weeks.
Arts Officer with Leitrim County Council, Phlip Delamere, has said it’s a great opportunity for companies to experience the benefits of working with local artists.
The residency period will be between October and December and the artist’s fee will be fifteen hundred euro with a five hundred euro materials budget.
Companies participating include Image Skillnet, Leitrim Organic Farmers Cooperative and FitKicksFitness.
Past projects with the Spark programme were said to be a huge success, with artists creating films, books and hosting workshops with their collaborators.
Anyone eager to apply should contact Leitrim County Council Arts Office by Friday 13th of September.
