Leitrim company helping parents of children with dyslexia hurt by lack of government support

One of the co-founders of a Leitrim company which helps parents and children with dyslexia is highlighting the lack of government support for the learning difficulty.

Anne Bohan set up Assist Dyslexia with Dolores McLoughlin four years ago to fill a gap for parents who wanted help to assess their children and get tailored support for them.

It began as a small private company based in Drumshanbo but it’s had to expand over recent years to cater for children in Longford, Sligo, Roscommon and Donegal.
