The owner of the Leitrim based Electric Bike Trails company says he's seen a major surge in business due to Covid restrictions.
Seamus Gibbons who established his business in Leitrim village nine years ago says while he did obviously lose out during the initial lockdown he's been kept busy every day since re-opening.
The business hires electric and regular bikes to people who want to use them to explore the Shannon and Shannon-Erne blueways, as well as at Lough Key Forest and Activity park.
Seamus Gibbons says they've had to set up online booking to meet the demand, but there are also issues with getting bikes due to the worldwide increase in cycling since the pandemic began.
