There’s growing concern from the government about the increasing number of COVID-19 cases nationally.
Last Friday, Dublin entered into Level 3 restrictions as set out in the government’s roadmap for living with the virus.
However the rising number of individual cases elsewhere has led to warnings that the virus isn’t just spreading in Dublin.
Government official Liz Canavan said that counties Louth, Waterford, Limerick, Kildare, Leitrim, Donegal and Offaly are now showing "concerning trends".
