Gardai in Leitrim are investigating after a second large supermarket in the county was evacuated following an alleged bomb scare in just 24 hours.
Staff and customers were safely removed from Tesco in Carrick-on-Shannon this afternoon around 2pm after staff reported receiving a phone call about a suspicious device which may have been left on the premises.

A Garda spokesperson has confirmed they are investigating both incidents but have no evidence yet to suggest there is a connection between the two.
