Food Hub in Drumshanbo set for further expansion

There are plans to significantly expand the thriving Food Hub in Drumshanbo.

The former Laird’s jam factory closed in 1998, but after more than €1 million of state investment, it was divided into sections for various businesses.

Although it started slowly, the Food Hub is now full, occupied by seven businesses, which employ more than 70 people.

Enda McGloin, the chairman of Drumshanbo Community Council, which runs the complex, has revealed their expansion plans.
