158 applications have been received by Leitrim's Local Enterprise office from companies looking for expert advice on how to cope with trading in the midst of the pandemic.
Carrick on Shannon Municipal District meeting today heard that the Business Continuity vouchers programme which was aimed at companies looking to re-adjust or develop new business plans to deal with the impact of Covid has also processed 7 applications worth a total of €260,000
38 applications have also been received for an online trading voucher scheme for and ten of those have also been approved to date.
Direct of Services Joseph Gilhooley also confirmed that up to 50 applications have been made for the government's restart grant - to support companies based on the rates they paid last year up to a minimum of €2,000 and a maximum of €10,000.
