The decline of hen and stag parties in Carrick-on-Shannon has been reversed.
That’s according to Paul O’Brien, who was elected as the new chief executive of the town’s Chamber of Commerce last night.
One of his aims is to increase the organisation’s membership.
Last year businesses reported that hen and stag parties had declined by about 30 per cent in Carrick.
But Mr O’Brien says they have since returned to previous levels.
