Two school projects in the Shannonside region have received major funding boosts this week from the government.
Approval has been granted for the development of up to nine new classrooms as well as two science labs and rooms for home economics and arts at Carrick On Shannon Community School.
Abbey Community College in Boyle has received Ministerial approval this week for the construction of a new two-classroom ASD Unit at the school along with the conversion of an old school classroom into a new home economics room.
