Almost 1,000 extra voters have the chance to cast their ballot in Leitrim this week at the local and European elections as well the divorce referendum.
Figures revealed to Shannonside FM show that 422 new voters have been added to the register in Ballinamore, 270 in Manorhamilton and 266 in Carrick-on-Shannon.
A total 958 new voters have been added to the supplementary register in the county, the second highest figure in the Shannonside region.
In Longford, 1,695 extra voters were added to the register and in Roscommon 772 people added their names to the new list.
Overall 3,425 new voters will have the chance to cast their ballots from 7am next Friday at polling booths across the region.
